Isn't the title very gripping? The first time I saw this in the bookstore, I was very intrigued. Most romantic novels that I've read only deals with one or two (for love triangle) guys, but this seemed to be dealing with a lot. Five in all as I read the story. The preview at the back is even more interesting. For one I found a connection between this book and my younger self. Without much thinking, I immediately grabbed this book and did not let go of it.
Reading this story was a delight. I had butterflies in my stomach the whole time. People will be able to relate to the characters and plot of the story. I'm sure that anyone who reads this can find similarities with Lara Jean - the protagonist. It may be the part of her that hates driving, sometimes irresponsible, clever, fell in love with the boy next door, fell in love with the most popular guy in high school, fell in love with a neat guy who turned out to be gay, or just simply the part of her that is very typical to a high school girl. Lara Jean is not very hard to understand in the book. You'll understand why she did what she did. You'll be like, "Yeah, I will do the same if I were in her shoes." I guess anyone who reads this book loves her/will love her.
The Boys She Fell In Love With
There are five boys whom Lara Jean "fell in love" with, but the book focuses on Josh and Peter. Josh is Lara Jean's best friend and Margo's - Lara Jean's older sister - ex-boyfriend. Peter is the most popular guy in their school who turned to be Lara Jean's first kiss. Between the two guys, Peter is the most suitable guy to end up with Lara Jean. She definitely cannot end up with Josh for the fact that he's Margo's ex-boyfriend. She just cannot date her sister's ex, can she?
Peter is a good catch. He is not the most popular in school for nothing, right? Most "popular guy" image is a bully. Like they know they are cool so they can do whatever they like. Peter is surprisingly good-natured. He is very funny as well. The kind of guy you'd like your family to meet because you know he can get along with them well. He is just lovely.
While it has been a delight reading this book, I was a bit disappointed about how it ended. It ended with "Dear Peter". It was a very hanging ending. I kind of knew from the start that if Lara Jean will end up with someone, it should be with Peter. Although the love letter for Peter indicates that Lara Jean chose to forgive Peter and maybe say sorry for her own mistakes, there are still a lot if missing pieces. 1.) I want to know the content of the letter, 2.) I want to know if they'd actually patched things up, 3.) I'm very curious whether they became a real couple or decided to be just friends, and 4.) I also want to know what happened to Margo and Josh.
Authors should never left their readers hanging. It's just rude.

First ever post
Since this is my first post and my first ever blog, I think it is only proper to introduce myself. I won't go into details about my personal information. Just a tidbit so I won't feel like a stranger to you, and a little overview of what this blog is all about.
Name: Nikita. Y'all can nickname me whatever you want.
Hobbies: Reading, Reading, Reading, Watching movies, Listening to music, Reading, Reading
Reading is a big part of my life. It is like my escape to reality, because admit it or not, we all what to get away from the hassle of the real world. I read all genres of book, but I am especially fond of fictions and the perfect fictional leading man. Who doesn't want to have their very own version of Augustus Waters or Noah Roberts? Etienne St. Clair, Cricket Bell, Joshua Wasserstein anyone? Yes, I know what you are thinking. These men are perfection and we all want a piece of them.
I created this blog to share my thoughts about the recent books that I am reading or will read in the future. There are just so much feels after I read a book that I think they deserve their very own blog. Also, in this blog, I am going to recommend books which I think deserves to be read by everyone. Or if I am pissed with a book I will still recommend it to piss you all. Haha.
You guys can also recommend something for me to read. I would really love that.
P.S. I will also post my thoughts on books that I have read from a few years back. ^^
